GATSBY AND THE FLUTTERBY
This adorable little fellow in his yellow slicker is Gatsby. He is a Chinese Crested dog, and he is full of love and joy. He and Flutterby are touring London and are keeping warm and dry under his bright blue umbrella.

ALL OVER FLORAL ATC SWAP
My flower project was a success! It looks great. I photographed the steps to show you:
1. Rough sketch of flowers all over the page, add some little bugs, butterflies, dragonflies, etc.
2. Paint it "loosely" in watercolor. Staying in the lines does not matter here.
3. After it is dry, line everything in black ink. No need to be exact! Do not worry about following the pencil lines, they will become shadow, and the paint is meant to be loose and flowing outside of the lines.
4. Embellish in metallics, sparkle, whatever you choose, or skip this little extra step, up to you.
5. If you use a 5 x 7 piece of paper you can now divide it into 4 equal pieces and you will have 4 ATCs. I used a 6 x 12 piece of paper and cut it with my Fiskars which gave me 2 bookmarks, 4 inchies, and 6 ATCs.
Such a fun project! I want to do it again very soon!
ALL OVER PATTERNS CREATE AMAZING ACEOS!
I used the All Over Flower technique three more times! The first time I made larger, much looser flowers. This cut my time in half, and the look I got is a more free and fluid appearance. 
Next I tried hearts. First I painted some very loose watercolor hearts and then I did simple tangles and doodles all over them, finishing off with touches of metallic and stardust pens. 
Then I tried some simple palms with splashes of color behind them. The effect is different in every ACEO. Sometimes the blue looks like sky and sometimes it looks like water, and the pink and yellow sometimes resemble a sunset and other times resemble sand. This technique is fun and simple with an impressive result!
DON'T LEAF ME BEHIND...
This is an actual Seagrape leaf and is about 2 x 3 inches in size. I applied gesso and then used watercolor and pen to draw on the dogs who are once again Gatsby and Guinness (I am partial to them, lol). I gifted this to my client for a recent commission I received from her. I am planning on doing some more dogs in this style because they are comical and so much fun!
